Wow, 2011 went by fast, and 2012 doesn't seem to be going
any slower.  This is the first in what I hope will be a
more consistent newsletter this year.  I'll be trying to
budget either Saturday or Sunday each week to getting some
things done and advanced at VS-TEN (and the whole
network).

We will be doing some software updates in early February,
so hang on to your hats for that.  Changes are also
scheduled for our commercial site, TheLinkRing.com, and
our security site, Site-Scanner.com.  I'm planning to
melt through at least 2 keyboards before summer.

One of my thoughts is to increase my focus this year.  My
intention is to focus more on the auto-surf sites and
helping them grow, because I know that side of the
industry a little better.  There is a better, more-focused
option available for you manual-only sites: Lis Rooney is
starting a -TEN site called PrairieDog TEN
(prairiedog-ten.com).  If you are considering the move,
let me know, and I can migrate your site records for you,
so there's less to "re-do".  Lis started with our
January, 2012 blacklist, but I'm sure she's adding to
it.

Also, because Ronda and I have been sort of playing
tag-team support this year, I figured I should remind you

I also teach 6 classes a week about the software at our
webex site: http://varisearchllc.webex.com  password is
"class", and classes are Tuesday/Thursday at 2pm and 8pm
eastern, and Saturday at noon and 4pm Eastern.  The class
focuses on "skeleton", our base membership system, but
it goes wherever the attendees want it to: TEN,
webmastering, TrEx, Framework, the weather, pets, all
kinds of things.

I hope to see or hear from you soon, and I hope 2012 is a
breakout year for all of us.
